University interactive session between Management and students of the College of postgraduate studies

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael U. Awoke, has warned staff of the University against extortion of students of the institution. Speaking yesterday, during the interactive session between Management and students of the College of postgraduate studies, the VC regretted the practice of lecturers and other staff asking the students for money or demanding sex for mark. He stated his resolve to flush out bad eggs within the system, adding that his administration would reposition the University to meet up with Global standards.
Other speakers at the event were, the DVC, Academic, Prof. Ike-Elechi Ogba, the Provost, College of postgraduate studies, Prof. Romanus I. Iroha, Prof. Dan Enyi, among others. The students asked questions and made contributions on various aspects of the postgraduate studies, where the VC and other officials provided answers and solutions.
