Ebonyi State University has clinched the 1st position
The Faculty of Law, Ebonyi State University has clinched the 1st position in the recent National Client Interviewing and Counseling Skills Competition. Represented by the duo of Cynthia Ibor and Itumo Goodness, the Network of University Legal Aid Institutions organized the competition online via ZOOM.
As winners of the National Competition, the Faculty is qualified to represent Nigeria at the 2024 Brown Mosten International Client Consultation, which will be held by the John Paul II Catholic University Of Lublin, Poland from 10-13 April 2024.
The competition promotes greater knowledge and interest among law students in preventive law and counseling functions of law practice. It also encourages students to develop interviewing, planning, and analytical skills in the lawyer client relationship of the law office. Interviewing and advising are a significant part of the lawyers’ work.
